Range Rules
OUTDOOR RANGE RULES

Always keep the firearm pointed in a safe direction; never point a handgun at anything you are not willing to destroy and pay for (Gun must always be pointed down RANGE).

Always keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot (Indexed or registered)

Treat every gun as if it were loaded (DO NOT load the gun until ready to use).

Know the target, backstop, and what is beyond the backstop.

Be sure the gun is safe to operate (Ask the RSO for assistance if needed).

Know how to use the gun (Ask the RSO for assistance if needed).

Use the correct ammunition in the firearm.

Use proper, headwear, eye and ear protection. No open toe shoes allowed on the firing line.

Always follow the range safety rules/instructions (Ask an RSO if you are unsure of something).

Only use a handgun that you are capable of shooting safely.

There is NO RAPID FIRE ON THIS RANGE… CONTROLED PAIRS OR SINGLE SHOTS ONLY.

If you have a malfunction that you cannot clear, please contact the RSO. DO NOT remove the weapon from the firing line.

SHOTGUNS AND SHOT SHELLS ALLOWED TO BE FIRED ON THIS RANGE. THIS ALSO INCLUDES SHOT GUN SLUGS.

BLACK POWDER FIREARMS ALLOWED.
